She has represented the country in various international spheres, was on diplomatic duties for 6 years, and has also intervened in the process of negotiations of international treaty, mediation and dispute resolution. Has an 18-year trajectory through legal service and advisory positions.

She served as a Dominican diplomat in the United States from February 2008 to October 2013. During this time, as a Chief of Legal Affairs of the Dominican Embassy in Washington DC, coordinated the Dominican Republic guidelines on trade issues, labor chapter (CAFTA-DR), and has experience in representing the Dominican State in matters of international disputes. She has also been involved in procedures for international judicial cooperation and extraditions.

From November 2013 to September 2020, oversaw the International Treaties Division, leading negotiations of international agreements in the commercial, environment, energy, labor, and judicial cooperation, including maritime delimitation and international civil aviation. She also held the position of Legal Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2005 she was appointed at the technical advisory team at the National Palace, in the President’s Investigation Unit-DIAPE.
